Happy Easter
Hope you had a lovely Easter Break. It's been lovely to have a 5 day holiday, shame about the weather !! We have managed two trips to the dog beach in sunshine , so really shouldn't complain.
I have had lots of fun makingt these Easter Gifts using the Mini Milk Carton die. I was inspired by my team member Ariane, who made this beautiful Christmas Gift Box.
I was going to post the Easter cards I made in my classes but realise I gave them all away before I took photos. Silly me.
I will be posting cards using the new products from the Autumn Mini catalogue soon. I love the French Foliage stamp set which is very appropriate for this time of year.
Thanks for visiting.

Inklings Autumn Mini Catalogue Blog Hop
Welcome to The INKlings’ Team’s Autumn Winter Mini Catalogue blog hop. You may have arrived here from Kari's blog or just be visiting my blog, whichever way once you’ve checked out my creations you can continue the hop through the link at the end of this post to the next team member.
With a new Mini Catalogue out today we thought it would be a great time to showcase the gorgeous new products to all our blog readers.
You can check out the new mini catalogue online here http://www3.stampinup.com/au/ena/543.asp or if you'd like your own copy contact me today and I'll pop one in the mail to you.
Sorry Blog Candy prize not available to SU! demonstrators but you're more than welcome to leave us a comment!
I thought I would try and show you a few different ways to use the new Pom Pom trim. It comes in three different colours, Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight. I am demonstrating the Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango.
The first card is a 4 " by 4" card embossed with the new Framed Tulip embossing folder. The embossing has been reduced to fit the card. (n.b. there are many tutorials on the net to show you how to do this). Then I have used the new Strength and Hope Stamp for the butterfly and words. A piece of Pom Pom trim has been attached to the middle, it doesn't fray so no need to tuck under the card. A very simple way to use the trim

As the trim doesn't fray I tried cutting up the Pom Pom's and came up with these ideas. Firstly they make a nice furry looking body for the butterfly, like this
Lastly I made these tiny flowers with a contrasting centre.

Happy Valentine's Day !
Happy Valentines Day everyone !
I have had so much fun playing with the shimmer paints sold by Stampin' Up! in my classes this month that I just had to make a Valentine's Day card with them.
The large hearts are stamped using the Platinum shimmer paint and the small hearts using the Champagne Mist shimmer paint coloured with red re-inker.The Champagne mist has a glittery effect which unfortunately doesn't really show up in the picture.
Have a great day.

Back from Holiday
I have just spent a very relaxing week with my sister and her family on Rottnest Island, just off the coast of Perth. This is a picture of the view from our balcony, just beautiful.
Each year we get together for a holiday with my sister and catch up with some card making. This is one of the cards we made.
I have now planned my classes for February. If you would like to attend visit my business web page and sign up for my newsletter.
