Cyberstamp

This is the Inklings first Cyberstamp for 2010 and it is being hosted by Jayne, our fearless leader.

The first challenge was to make a card with a flower made from punches on it. I chose this flower made by Julia Bettencourt.

This is the finished card.

Another two challenges to go !!

Birthday Cards for Everyone !

I made this card for my son's birthday in January and fell in love with this jolly chef.
Sorry it looks like all cards I send in February will be using the chef ! It makes a great card for a male or female and for any age. I might just have to save up for the accessories.

The stamp set which includes the chef is called Voila and the set with the accessories is Voila a la Carte (page 40 in the Ideas Book and Catalogue).
This is a more girly version.

Ski-ing in Summer !!

My blog has been a little quite lately because i have been on a wonderful holiday with my sister and my nephews in Japan. Most of the time was spent ski-ing but we also had a few days exploring Tokyo.

This is a picture of me smiling because i had just skied in this most incredible powder .
After ski-ing we spent 4 days exploring Tokyo. This is a picture of my sister and her two sons outside the Imperial Palace. We had amazingly warm weather in Tokyo for 2 days and only had to wear jumpers. The last two days were back in single figures, about 8c .

Classes should be up and running soon, maybe with a slight Japanese feel ! I loved their stationary shops.

Happy New Year !

I hope you had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year. We went down to the bridge to watch the 9 pm fireworks at the last minute and had a fantastic view. They really have everything very well organised now.
Hope to post a few cards in the next week so stay tuned !
